1.Angle basin
Because the corner basin has a small footprint, it is generally suitable for smaller bathrooms. After installation, the bathroom has more room to maneuver.
2.Ordinary basin
Suitable for general decorated bathrooms, economical and practical, but not beautiful.
3.Vertical basin
Suitable for small bathrooms. It can match upscale interior decoration and other luxury sanitary ware.
4.Countertop washbasins and countertop washbasins
It is suitable for large-sized bathrooms with high-grade decoration. The countertops can be made of marble or granite.
Basins generally have three holes, namely water inlet holes, overflow prevention holes and drainage holes. In order to fill the basin with water, the drainage hole must be blocked. The drainage hole is usually equipped with a special plug. Some plugs can be opened or closed directly.
According to the number of water holes in the basin, the basin is divided into three types: no hole, single hole and three holes.
The faucet of a non-perforated basin should be installed on a countertop or on the wall behind the basin; the cold and hot water pipes of a single-hole basin are connected to a single-handle faucet through a hole. The bottom of the faucet has a silk port. The nut is fixed on this hole; the three-hole basin can be equipped with a single-handle hot and cold water faucet or a double-handle hot and cold water faucet. The cold and hot water pipes are connected to the two ends of the faucet through the holes left on the two sides, and the faucet is also tightened with a nut. Fixed to basin
Second, the purchase of basin
1. Space determines form
Basins are roughly divided into free-standing and tabletop. The free-standing shape is beautiful, covers a small area, and is easy to maintain, suitable for bathrooms with little space. However, it needs to be equipped with a mirror box or a washstand in order to use the space above the basin to place some toiletries and cosmetics. The countertop washbasin should occupy at least one small desk space. Toilets can be placed on its countertop, and the cabinet underneath can also contain miscellaneous items. If the size of the bathroom is not large, you can consider installing a triangular washbasin in the corner. A triangular utility rack can be hung above the basin to store washing supplies.
2. Pay attention to height
Regardless of whether it is a free-standing or countertop basin, the height of the basin or countertop from the ground must be 80-85 cm, because a basin that is too short can cause back pain.
3. Pay attention to the finish
The basin edge of the washbasin must be slightly higher than the countertop, but the junction with the countertop must be smooth, so that the water splashed on the countertop is not obstructed when it is wiped back into the basin, and it is easy to clean the countertop. The table itself must be made of smooth surface materials, and the edges and corners must be round to avoid bumps. The smoothness of the basin itself is also very important. The high-quality basin surface makes it difficult for debris in the water to adhere to the surface, and relatively reduces the number of scrubs required.
4.Depth and faucet
Conventionally, the depth of the basin is directly proportional to the intensity of the water flow from the faucet installed on it, that is, a deep basin can only be installed with a strong water flow faucet. Never install a large faucet on a basin with a shallow bottom, as this will cause people to splash on the water. The bottom of the basin must be sufficiently curved, not too flat, otherwise water will accumulate inside.
Third, basin maintenance
1. Change the bad habit of placing items on the basin.
2. For the daily necessities with large volume or weight on the makeup board placed above the basin, please install a separate locker to facilitate the collection of daily necessities and avoid placing them on the makeup board.
3. Normal cleaning: porcelain wares with soft bristles or sponges moistened with neutral detergent, but they must not be washed with hot water to prevent the basin from cracking. If you want to use a basin for water, first put cold water in hot water to avoid burns.
